We would like to hear from farmers, community groups and major corporations that would like to discuss the possible opportunity to earn additional income through development of renewable projects on their land.
Landowners have an opportunity to significantly enhance their income by considering the option to develop wind farms and other renewable projects. Development of wind farms and other renewable technologies offers significant benefits to securing a regular and sustainable income, if farmers are looking to diversify from pure farming operations. Wind farms can provide landowners with a regular income for up to 25 years.
Key Elements of Land Option Agreement:
- It clarifies the terms of both the land option agreement and lease arrangements
- Describes the rental arrangements
- Outlines the responsibilities of the landowner and the tenant (the developer)
- Provides certainty to the landowner as to how his land will be affected by the project during development, construction and operation
We will assess your land for free if your land is:
- 800m clear of neighbouring residential properties
- Outside areas of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) and national parks
- At least 2 km from major centres of population
